Meals
Thanks to specific agreements, DAES students benefit from the catering service provided by the canteen of the University of Parma and a self-service restaurant located in the city-centre, just a few minutes walking from the headquarters of the Foundation. In addition, students may use the canteen of the University that is located within the Campus, nearby the Hall of Residence where they live.
In the weekdays of the academic year (from the first day of the language courses in October to the last day of exams of the second semester in July) DAES students benefit from:
a) Students in formula "COLLEGE": No.1 (one) meal ticket per day (or any other equivalent solution agreed with the Foundation) that can be used from Monday to Saturday with the catering services above, and No.1 (one) voucher per day that can be used from Monday to Friday at the supermarket Conad Campus;
b) Students in formula "STANDARD": No.1 (one) meal ticket per day (or any other equivalent solution agreed with the Foundation) that can be used from Monday to Saturday with the catering services above.
The Foundation does not cover meals of Saturday nights, Sundays and national holidays, as well as meals of other holidays during the year (Christmas, Easter, etc.). However, students in formula “COLLEGE” may use their vouchers at the supermarket Conad Campus to cover also their needs in those days.
Transports
The municipality of Parma has an effective service of public transport (for timetables and lines see: Tep S.p.A.). DAES students in formula “COLLEGE” and “STANDARD” receive a season ticket (from October to July) for using the public transport within the city from 6am to 8pm every day.
The Foundation will organize specific transport services for events and activities outside the city of Parma, which are foreseen by the DAES study programme.
