INTERNSHIPS PROMOTED BY THE EUROPEAN COLLEGE OF PARMA FOUNDATION
The European College of Parma selects and organises internships for its graduates within organisations, professional associations, companies etc. at national and European levels.
In the framework of the cooperation with the International Office of the University of Parma, students have access to mobility schemes under the Erasmus+ programme for paid internships abroad in European project management areas and Social Innovation.
Over the academic year, group and individual meetings are held to identify the most appropriate internships possibly in line with expectations and needs of individual students, depending on the availability of hosting organisations.
The Career Development Office provides support on CV drafting and practical advice to students on interviews for selection procedures for internships, as well as in view of future job interviews.
Many graduates have obtained traineeships at European Institutions, especially at the European Commission.
Graduates also often report on successful experiences achieved in the job market thanks to the multidisciplinary training provided by the European College and to its wideranging study programme, which deals with the most important EU policies.
An increasing number of graduates work in organisations related to the EU fields (institutions, organisations, representation offices, professional associations, legal firms, etc.).
A significant number of graduates have also succeeded in competitions run by the European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO).
The European College of Parma keeps in touch with its former students, informing them of internship or job opportunities that are notified to the Career Development Office.
