Kruno Stjepanovic

External Agent at the European Commission

"I like to think that studying at the European College of Parma was fortuitous. However, opportunities after it were not accidental. Due to a very broad selection of courses, covering almost all EU policies and a respectable list of renowned names as professors, I was given almost an exclusive insight into the ways of the European institutions. Based on this experience, I was selected for a five month traineeship at the European Commission, which, not only allowed me to join a network of young professionals, many of whom have studied at the College as well, and to acquire some new friends, but also, it landed me a job proposition, right at the Commission. Today, I work as an external agent on medical devices legislation in Directorate for Internal Market and Industry, communicating with corporate stakeholders, citizens and national authorities and helping out my co-workers in the policy development. European College of Parma is an excellent starting point in creating a necessary social capital one needs in order to succeed in the European affairs."
