in European Studies (MAES)

The Master in European Studies (MAES) offers an interdisciplinary learning path, providing in-depth knowledge of the functioning and policies of the European Union. The programme, held at the European College of Parma Foundation, includes lectures, interactive practical exercises, group work, and a study visit at the European Institutions in Brussels.

The programme focuses on the functioning of the European Union and its institutions, as well as EU law, economics, and main policies.

Throughout the year, students can specialise by choosing one of three tracks:

• EU Policies and Economic Governance
• The EU on the Global Stage
• Food, Green Deal and Current Affairs

Lectures and academic activities are held mainly in English. Students can also attend specific language courses to further enhance their language skills.
