The Second-Level Master’s Programme in EU-MED African Relations and Cooperation Policies (EU-MEDA) is an advanced academic programme designed for graduates and young professionals who wish to build a career in international cooperation, the European Union’s external action, and Euro-Mediterranean and African relations.
Combining theory and practice through an interdisciplinary approach, the programme focuses on key topics such as geopolitics, international law, development cooperation, migration, and sustainability. The Master’s features a distinguished faculty, interactive learning activities, policy simulations, project work, and internship opportunities, equipping participants with the knowledge and skills needed to work effectively in complex global and regional contexts.
An advanced, interdisciplinary programme offering knowledge and professional skills on EU and international governance, with a focus on Euro-Mediterranean and African cooperation policies. Combining economic, legal, and geopolitical perspectives, the Master equips participants with analytical tools to tackle today’s complex challenges in Europe’s relations with its Mediterranean and African Partners. EU-MEDA is co-designed and co-organised with the Department of Economics and Management of the University of Parma.

The program fee is €6,000, (in three installments), plus a €16 university matriculation fee due upon enrolment.
The application deadline for the “Master in EU-MED African Relations and Cooperation Policies” (EUMEDA) is 4th December 2026 at 12:00 noon (CEST). Candidates will be able to submit their applications through the University of Parma’s online platform, ESSE3.
