European College of Parma and the University of Parma Present the New MEAP and EUMEDA Master’s Programmes

On 21 July 2026, two online information sessions were held to introduce the new Master’s Programmes offered jointly by the European College of Parma and the University of Parma – Department of Economics and Management: MEAP – Master in European Affairs and Policies and EUMEDA – Master in EU-MED African Relations and Cooperation Policies.

The webinars offered prospective students the opportunity to discover the academic structure, learning objectives, career opportunities and international dimension of the two programmes.

The sessions opened with welcoming remarks by Rosangela De Simone, Administrative Director of the European College of Parma, who introduced the vision behind the initiative, followed by Alberto Spagnolli, President of the European College of Parma, who illustrated the College’s mission and its longstanding commitment to excellence in European education.

The academic presentation was delivered by Prof. Marco Magnani, President of both Master’s Programmes, who provided a comprehensive overview of the curricula, teaching approach and educational objectives of MEAP and EUMEDA.

The webinars also highlighted the international traineeship opportunities available to all participants, emphasizing the practical and professional experience that complements the academic path.

The two programmes are designed to prepare graduates for careers in European institutions, international organisations, public administrations, NGOs, consulting firms and the private sector through:

  • Courses taught entirely in English;
  • A faculty composed of leading academics and international practitioners;
  • A blended learning format combining online and in-person activities;
  • A guaranteed international traineeship.

Shaping Future Leaders: Two New Master Programmes Enrich the College’s Academic Portfolio

The European College of Parma and the University of Parma are pleased to announce the launch of two new postgraduate programmes for the 2026–2027 academic year: the Master in European Affairs and Policies (MEAP) and the Master in EU Mediterranean and African Relations (EU-MEDA).

MEAP focuses on European governance, EU law and policies, geopolitics, innovation, sustainability and strategic autonomy, preparing participants for careers in European institutions, international organisations, public administration and the private sector.

EU-MEDA offers a specialised and interdisciplinary perspective on cooperation, development and governance across Europe, the Mediterranean and Africa, addressing key issues such as migration, sustainability, energy, security and international cooperation.

Both programmes are delivered in English and include lectures, seminars, workshops, simulations, case studies and traineeship opportunities designed to provide participants with professional skills and international exposure.

Applications will officially open on 29 June 2026.
